This year's Sociology students were asked, at the end of the year, to complete a questionnaire which included a question on what advice they would give to future students coming to the college to study Sociology. The response to this particular question was very insightful, offering some excellent (and, in many cases, essential) guidance to anyone thinking of taking up the subject here. Here's a representative selection what was said:
I'll let that last point slide, as it seems fair enough. Besides, Sociology students are supposed to question everything, so I would be secretly disappointed if you assumed everything I said to be true.

After sleepless nights for staff and students alike, the results were finally in today - and were, overall, very positive. Achievement for AS students was nearly 80% - an improvement on previous years - whilst achievement at A2 was 100%, ensuring that Northampton College remains above the national average for overall achievement in Sociology.
