The World Health Organisation (WHO) have just published the results of a comprehensive new study on violence around the world. The study details rates of murder and different forms of violence in different continents, countries and cultures with links to social class. It also considers the effects of violent crime prevention strategies. It's a huge and important study, the results of which are vital background reading for any criminology student.
